This IS the BEST time of the year! So much festivity, it's cozy, and Christmas décor is everywhere, including my house! So welcome, come on in and take a peak around at my Christmas decorations. I had so much fun putting it all together this year and I'm pretty smitten with the way it turned out!
The console table we built back in August is probably my favorite piece of furniture in the house. It's been way too much fun to decorate, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
These beautiful mercury glass Christmas trees were steals from TJ Maxx. It was love at first sight and I knew they belonged on my console table with all the other decor!
A little bit of powdery snow around the trees and deer really completed the look for me. I was hesitant about using it at first because of the mess factor, but I'm so glad husband insisted on it. Besides, it will vacuum right up!
If you're looking for a candle to make your house smell like holiday goodness, this is the best! It's from Bath and Body Works and I've been lighting it every night for the past week! So good!
This wire basket was a find at Michael's back in September. I fill it accordingly, and for Christmas I opted for some "snow"-tipped pine cones and berries.
Using cardboard cones, husband and I made these last year. Such a simple DIY and I still love mine!
This has been the best tree for transitioning décor on. I replaced the pilgrim ornaments with some green and red Christmas ornaments, leaving the bells and pine cones.
I love that you can see the reflection of our Christmas tree in this photo! And do you spy the other TJ Maxx reindeer??
I have been decking the doors in our dining room with wreaths since August, and I think it's something I am going to do year round. Of course with seasonally appropriate wreaths!
This year I wanted to go simple with our table centerpiece. So I asked husband to build me a box. He did and then I filled it with the pieces he had to saw off of our Christmas tree to make it fit in its stand. Along with berries, pine cones, mercury glass, and stick candle holders from our wedding, I got just the look I was going for. The table runner, which I made from fabric purchased at Jo Ann's, was the icing on the cake!
And for a little peak at what our decorations look like at night...
I just love fuzzy Christmas tree photos! All those blurry lights just get me!
So that is my home tour for Christmas decorations. What's your home looking like this time of year?? And what is your go-to piece of holiday décor??
I love the use of the pine cones, very nice.
