Thoughts For Friday + The Pick: Week 34

Friday, August 28, 2015
It feels so good that it's Friday! Who's with me?? I think the hardest part of vacation is coming back to real life aftwerward. It's the darndest to return to work after spending a week with no worries or agenda. So I'm really relishing this Friday and am beyond excited for the weekend. One that involves no travel and nothing but simplicity. I'm going all out fall this weekend too. Because the temperature in my part of Virginia has stayed consistently in the mid 70's, and the mornings start out in the high 50's. It's a dream, truly it is.

Just a quick reminder for all you bloggers, Rachel and I will be hosting another installment of the Every Girl Link-Up next Thursday! We'll all be sharing our fall décor, and you know you want to share yours too. So maybe you were on the fence about pulling those fall decorations and touches out of storage...with a link-up less than a week away you should totally jump on the fall bandwagon. I mean we all know I've been driving it since mid-July ;)

T H I N K I N G  > That prenatal massage tomorrow morning is going to be heavenly.

P O N D E R I N G > My next haircut, which I'm badly in need of. I'll also be going with a fall ombré, and I need to set my mind on the shades I'm after.

N E E D I N G > Fall candles from Bath & Body Works. Really, it is a need.

L I S T E N I N G > This song over and over. The worship team at church picked this for last Sunday, and I'm crazy about it. It's got the alternative vibe that I love, not to mention the words just get you.

D R E A M I N G > About when the leaves will all start turning vibrant shades of Merlot and amber.

S W O O N I N G > Over Essie's Bahama Mama nail polish. It's not an official fall color, but I'm in love. I think it's the perfect transition polish from summer to fall. On your nails it's a darker shade of purple than it appears

Cheers to the weekend and a relaxing couple of days with your people! I'll be baking, concocting a fall drink, resting, and well, doing all things fall! See you on Monday, xo!

  2. Girlfriend I need a haircut like last year. I haven't had it properly cut, conditioned and just checked over since before sophie was born, whoops. I just don't ever have the time, and I kind of want to dye it as well and that's a good chunk of time.
