TFF + The Pick No. 11

Friday, March 18, 2016
This week has been a good one. It's been beautiful out, and it feels so darn nice to get out of the house for errands and walks with my sweet girl. I'm happy to report the flu has left the Hill House (and it better not return!), which means this week I've been doing some extra cleaning to make sure those germs are nowhere to be found.

Spring is really starting to show herself, and I'm in love. The redbuds just make my heart pitter patter. And while losing an hour last weekend might not have been my favorite, I do love the extra long sunshine time these days. Who's excited to welcome spring in just 2 days?!

T H I N K I N G  > About Supper Club this weekend! We're hosting, and it's going to be fiesta themed. Eep, it's been too long and my excitement keeps growing!

P O N D E R I N G > About what it would be like to live in Texas. With husband graduating from graduate school at the end of the year, there has been a lot of talk about his future job. Will it be where we are now? Will we take a leap of faith and make a big move? Sometimes it's fun to talk about these possibilities, and sometimes I don't want to think about it at all. Do you know what I mean?

N E E D I N G > A massage. Like a two hour massage that would put me right to uninterrupted sleep. Can I get an amen?

L I S T E N I N G > To a mixture of silence and little Greer sounds as she snoozes away. She makes plenty of noises in her sleep, and every single one of them is cute. Moms, aren't we all crazy about our babes' cooing noises and little peeps??

D R E A M I N G > Of finally getting to look through all of my magazines. I'm backed up several months now. #oops #momlife

S W O O N I N G > Over bright pink nail polishes. I don't know what has gotten into me. I'm typically not a pink gal at all, but these days I'm all over it.

Happy weekending, friends!

Get creative, get colorful, get unique! And on Fridays we'll pick our favorite and share it on our feeds! You in?! We'll be sharing next week's topic on Monday. And you've still got time to post a photo for this week! The theme is "Coffee Date."

  2. I know there have to be people that don't like living in Texas, but I've never met one. I hope to get back there one day. =)

  5. I'm so glad the flu is over!
    Love your pink nails!
And, I know what you mean about not knowing where you'll end up. Steve should be done with all his school stuff in May--so we have to be open to anything ;)

  7. Hooray for the flu being gone! And if you move to Waco, TX, you could hang out with Chip and Joanna. :o) I was born in Texas but moved when I was still a baby so I have no advice on that front, but lots of people I know who have visited or live there love it. Also, I made your Shepherd's Pie for St. Patrick's Day yesterday and it received rave reviews! My mother-in-law thinks it should be a dish for my baby shower next month! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
