Fallelujah Friday Favorites

September 1, 2017

The clock struck midnight, and it is now officially pumpkin season!! Where are my fall-loving ladies at?? Welcome, sweet September, the leader of all the "ber" months. I've been so looking forward to your arrival and the unofficial kickoff of autumn. And what better way to welcome the best season of all than with a three-day weekend and football?

This past Monday, while I was walking the neighborhood with friends and then again yesterday with my sister ,we came across these beauts randomly growing by the roadside. It was a happy site, and I've got plans to throw our discarded pumpkins in the backyard in hopes that I'll have my own mini patch this time next year. Because #pumpkineverything

  • First things first for my favorites. Starbucks has been so elusive this year with their release of the fall drinks. But, have you seen the PSL's Twitter page? I'm wondering if they'll launch the drinks today. If so, you know where you can find me. And a little fun fact, a poorly made PSL years ago (back in college) completely turned me off of the drink. Then my sister let me try hers last fall, and I was a changed, PSL-loving woman. If I'm not getting that, I'm getting a Salted Caramel Mocha. Yum!
  • The Target Dollar Spot actually has something for a $1 that I love. If you saw this photo on Instagram, then you saw the adorable velvet pumpkins that grabbed my eye and a hold of my wallet. They are so fun to put around the house in sweet little spaces. Go get one or ten!
  • You may have caught my IG stories last Saturday where I shared a before + after of my lashes with my favorite mascara. And y'all love this mascara as much as I do, which makes it worth mentioning again. You've got to try it!
  • Occasionally, I will splurge on a nail polish if it's in a shade that I can't live without and/or can't find a dupe by another brand, like Winning Streak by Essie. But sometimes I find an even better shade for a lot better cost. Sinful Colors in Taupe is one of those at just $1.99. Plus it goes on great. It's what I'm currently wearing on my toes and hands, and it's perfect for fall.

  • Greer-isms are definitely at the top of my favorites. She cracks me up, keeps me on my toes, and gives the best snuggles.
  • Mamas, do you ever find yourself wising they made your daughter's baby or toddler clothing in your size? Like this ruffle-hem top or vest. And while I wouldn't necessarily wear this dress in my size, I can't wait to put Greer in it. Let's just say Greer is going to be best-dressed in our house this autumn. And I wish my closet looked like hers ;)

If you missed any of the posts from this week, you can catch up with a final post from Hilton Head and a day trip to Savannah. And I am SO excited to reveal Greer's nursery next week! I can't even. And that giveaway I keep mentioning will be happening alongside the room reveal. Eek!! You don't want to miss it!

Happy Friday, friends! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! xo

Before saying goodbye for the long weekend, I just want to say that it has been really neat to watch our country come together to support and lift up Houston. It's absolutely incredible. Keep them in your prayers over these coming days and weeks. God bless Texas. God bless the USA.
