Something To Swoon About

March 2, 2018

TGIF! Anyone else in amazement that we just completed February and are now into the second day of March? I'm currently bundled up in my bed with my toddler soundly tucked next to me taking her afternoon nap. You see, this is typical for us, but the power went out last night around 9:30 and hasn't come back on since. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so cold and the wind wasn't atrocious. We made it through the night just fine, but retreated to a friend's this morning to enjoy some playtime and heat! I figured we'd try nap time at home so 1. Greer would get a decent nap and 2. Mama could do some work. I have to admit, I kind of love being in a snuggly, blanket-filled bed next to my sleeping babe, those sweet little breaths going in and out in perfect rhythm. I'm praying the power snaps back on soon though, at least before the sun goes down.

Till then, I thought I would share my new take on "Friday Favorite" posts. This new series, "Something To Swoon About" is going to be very similar, with some twists here and there. I know I love seeing items others are loving, and I love sharing the things I'm all about. Be sure to leave your new favorites and must-haves in the comments. So here's to a new series and hopefully inspiring you  (and me) to try something new!

  • I'm seeing lemon-themed clothing everywhere. Typically, I'm not a fan of yellow, but these sweet little lemons are pulling at my heart strings. I mean, just look at these pajamas! They are on sale + an extra 20% today!
  • Speaking of toddler things, I scored Greer four pairs of shoes for less than $40 total with the BOGO deal going on at Target right now! Check the selection out, I always adore the selection by Cat & Jack!
  • While I'm on the subject of clothes, let's talk genius baby sleeper idea. On this 3-pack of sleepers, the zipper ends at the bottom by the ankle. Which means you don't have to undress baby or make the cold when changing diapers. Hallelujah! I grabbed Junebug a pair, and you can't beat the price tag for that many sleepers. They have lots of patterns for both baby boys and girls.
  • If you're looking for the perfect pop of color to welcome spring, you must grab this wreath! I'm really wanting it in the smaller size too for hanging on the oven hood in my kitchen.
  • If you follow me on Instagram and watch my stories, then you might have seen the overalls I was debating getting. Well, I did it! And I'm silly excited about them. I haven't worn a pair of overalls since I was 13, so it's been a long time coming. Let's just hope I can pull them off.

That's all from me this week! Have a great weekend and see you next week, lovelies!

psst...if you missed them, here are the posts from this week:

24 Week Bumpdate (Junebug is growing right along and SO fast!)
Greer-isms Vol. 3 (if you want a good chuckle!)
