The Bachelor, A Grocery List, & A Reminder

January 13, 2015

I had a blog post planned for today, but the weather has not been cooperating for photo taking (darn darkness all day long!). So I'm substituting my would-be-post with this one instead, which is going to be a collection of random thoughts and things.

To kick it off, I'll start with The Bachelor. Holy moly are the girls cray cray this year. Sometimes I wonder how ABC tops themselves year after year on this show. But, somehow they always manage to with the most dramatic season yet. I've watched this show for years, but I don't think I've enjoyed it quite as much as I do now that husband 'watches' it with me. Now I'm not admitting to him watching the show every Monday night, but I'm also not denying it. I wish you could have seen his excitement over the zombie/paintball group date last night. He may or may not have asked me if we could do something similar. Oh man.

For a little fun, I found this bracket and thought I'd share it with you. Because you know it's fun trying to guess which girls are going to last and which ones are not. If you want to print it out, you can do so by clicking HERE.

Now on to more important things like grocery lists and shopping. Husband and I are typically so good at going to get groceries every Sunday after church. Well we were for a while before the holidays came around. We still aren't back into it yet, and have been putting off planning our meals for the week. So we've been living off of leftovers. Welcome to my life. Does this sound familiar to you?

I'm actually rally glad we didn't go to the store on Sunday (or yesterday for that matter) because I found a great weekly meal plan on Today's website. Hallelujah, Joy Bauer is walking me through this, or rather carrying me through it. The hardest part for eating healthy is the planning ahead aspect and coming up with meals that meet all the crazy requirements. I present you with pure gold in this list Joy shared. You can even print it off, let's all rejoice!! I'll let you know how this works for us after we make it through the seven days.

Last but not least....DON'T FORGET to link-up on Thursday for our first Every Girl Link-Up. We'll be sharing our Organizing 101!!
