Thoughts For Friday + The Pick: Week 31

August 7, 2015

I have to start this post out with a huge thank you!! Your sweet comments about our baby girl and her gender reveal party on the blog, Instagram, and Facebook have been so wonderful! You all know how to melt a gal's heart!

Now on to some business...this weekend is an Hour by Hour Weekend, and on Monday we'll be linking up our posts. I loved seeing everyone's posts last month and am so looking forward to seeing them next week! Remember, if you can't get a picture in every hour it's no biggie! Just take those photos when you remember and get the chance. Then wrap them into a sweet post and publish!

Also, there's an Every Girl link-up next week for steals, deals, and unexpected finds! Be on the lookout this weekend and have it ready for next Thursday!!

And don't forget the buffalo check baby booties giveaway!! Enter it if you haven't!

Phew! Now we can celebrate the weekend, and I'll be kicking it off with pedicures with my mom and sister this afternoon! It's going to be fabulous, considering I haven't had one since January. And then husband and I will meet up and head to Steppin' Out with the other 'burg Hills. This weekend is going to be a good one; I can feel it!

T H I N K I N G  > That I need to stop biting my nails. I had been so good about it, and then some stress hit and so long nails (I'm a stress nail chewer)! It's such a bad habit, one I've never been able to completely get rid of. Here's to growing out my nails (fingers crossed)!

P O N D E R I N G > What my little girl will look like and what type of person God has made her to be. Now that I know we're having a girl, I feel like I can imagine so much more about this babe. Albeit, I could be totally off, I like to imagine such things. I think of what type of child I was, my likes and dislikes as I grew up, etc. And I wonder if she'll share any similar traits and preferences.

N E E D I N G >  A tan. I had one once upon a time this summer. But it faded as fast as it appeared. Thank goodness the beach is in my near future!

L I S T E N I N G > To my Regina Spektor Pandora station constantly. I love alternative music and between her and Ingrid Michaelson, I'm a happy gal.

D R E A M I N G > Weird pregnancy dreams. Can anyone tell me why this is a pregnancy symptom??

S W O O N I N G > Over the lowered temperatures the recent rain and thunderstorms brought. It's not supposed to last for long, so I'm soaking it in while I can. And so is my faux fall wardrobe.

I hope your weekend is full of all kinds of goodness! xo
