Thoughts For Friday + The Pick: Week 48

December 4, 2015

Happy Friday!! My weekend started yesterday at noon with a half of day at work before prepping for the annual Hill Christmas Cabin. It feels like we were just packing up and heading out for that tradition last year! Time's inability to slow down isn't phasing me so much anymore. I know it's just going to keep whizzing by, so I'm trying to soak it all in while I can.

Speaking of the quickness of time, where has this pregnancy gone? I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow, ya'll! And I'm at the point in pregnancy where my feet have completely disappeared from sight and more or less I'm done being pregnant. Who can relate? On the contrast, I also know that I'm going to miss feeling my girl move all of the time and having her with me for everything. So I'm trying my best to enjoy this big belly of mine even when the discomfort is driving me slightly batty. More than anything, I'm just so darn excited to meet her. To hold her in my arms and look into her tiny face. With all the Christmas décor up, I selfishly want her arrival to be sooner rather than later so I can enjoy cuddling a newborn surrounded by twinkling lights and the scent of fresh balsam. #allthefeels

But enough of my random commentary! Now on to my thoughts for this week!

T H I N K I N G  > About husband's Christmas gifts! I'm so bad....I haven't bought a single gift yet. Granted, I also don't have a wishlist from him, so that does make it a bit more challenging. Let's hope I get that done asap!

P O N D E R I N G > When baby girl is going to arrive! It is her due date month after all :)

N E E D I N G > To get my hospital bag packed! Baby girl's is ready to go, but this mama-to-be has yet to put hers together!

L I S T E N I N G > To the Pentatonix's Christmas jams. I love their sound!

D R E A M I N G > About sharing our girl's name! I am so looking forward to being able to introduce her by her name :)

S W O O N I N G > Over all of the Christmas goodness that is going on! There's a Christmas parade tonight, along with a Christmas bazaar at the Farmer's Market and it gives me all the happy feels!

I hope you have one wonderful weekend, lovelies!  xo
