Countdown To Turkey Day + Some Favorites

November 17, 2017

How about a late night post for your Friday? I'm finally settled down for the evening and I have some favorites that I just have to share with you. That, and let's talk Turkey Day. Anyone else in utter disbelief that Thanksgiving is just six days away?? Me, I am. It seems crazy to me that we're halfway through November, and next week we'll be celebrating with all the best foods, a morning parade on tv (my favorite!), and then an official kick-off to Christmas. This really is the best time of year! What are your must-have side dishes on the Thanksgiving table?? I love my mom's homemade cranberry salad and I would never turn down sweet potato casserole.

So if you follow me on IG and watched my stories from this afternoon, then you know I am assembling some garland for my fireplace. Michaels is having a HUGE doorbuster discount (70%) on garland today and tomorrow. I found the perfect, loose garland for a steal. And I think I'm heading back tomorrow to grab some more for some other festive touches around the house.

Now for some favorites...
  • I need new pajamas. Am I the only one who leaves this clothing last to replace? I don't do it intentionally, but somehow I neglect my pajamas. So I've been eyeing two new pairs. I love nightgowns and I'm also a lover of tunic tops with leggings
  • So I've never been a lipstick-wearer, but I really want to give it a try. I think I'm adding this to my stocking stuffer list for Christmas. And I'd love to try this lip scrub too!
  • I just want to wear this pullover all winter long.
  • I love festive, paper straws for every time of the year. So right now, I'm loving these white/red striped straws. And I don't think I'll be running out any time soon.
  • Coffee dates with my best gal and Starbucks Holiday Blend Coffee. This is my favorite coffee for making lattes at home. The sad part...husband dropped the carafe for our latte maker when we moved last year and it's been a solid year since I've had a latte. It makes me terribly sad. Guess I need to put that on my Christmas list.
