Quinn's Newborn Session

July 24, 2018

I'm so excited to share our newborn photo session today! It feels like we just had these taken, but in reality our Junebug is now four weeks old, and these photos were taken when she was just two days shy of two weeks. In the short amount of time since, she's changed so much. And I'm all too familiar with how fleeting this stage is, the way the newborn features quickly blossom into chubby rolls and baby teeth grins. If I can't keep my babies little, at least I can preserve such precious moments, making me thankful to have these photos of our littlest gal at 12 days old.

Ashley beautifully captured our family in our home, giving us the relaxed and comfortable feel we were hoping for. She captured some of my new favorite photos, and I'm super thankful for her talent. Not only is she amazing at what she does, but she is so kind and feels like a friend right from the start. I was pulled in by her natural light photography and can't recommend her enough if you're local to the area. All that to say, I could easily share every single photo, but I've tried to pick out my absolute favorites so I don't overwhelm you with all the sweetness. I'm quite certain that you'll be seeing even more photos pop up from time to time :)

My darling firstborn. I am amazed at how well she has transitioned into her role as a big sister. Greer is smitten with her little sister. In fact, Quinn is the only person Greer constantly says "I love you," to without being prompted; she may say it to husband and I every now and again, but daily (usually multiple times) she let's her sister know it. And I think it's the loveliest and purest thing. Our Greer girl is always asking to hold the baby and give her sugars. She sings to her when she's crying and loves nothing more than when Quinn is awake and alert. I have a feeling these two little ladies are going to be the best of friends.

Can you even with this last photo? Be sure to read Quinn's birth story and check out our maternity photos if you haven't yet!
